The quartz creates a calming feeling, and the delicate look of this piece makes it unobtrusive yet beautiful and eye-catching.  The gold color gives the piece a cohesive look, with gold applied to the pendant as well as the base.  I was also drawn to this piece because I've heard good things about the company through my peers.

After walking numerous showrooms, I found one that displayed solid wood construction (no MDF here!) and a modern look.  Kapono has a natural looking finish (my favorite type of finish) with one neutral accent on the door, and has both open and hidden storage.  I love the proportions, especially the slight taper on the legs.  I would love to look into this company further and learn about them.

I love the simple silhouette, and the angle of the back legs compared to the front makes this chair more dynamic than the average dining chair.  It looks great in this dark grey and has a lightweight feel to it.

This teal color caught my eye.  It goes great with the dark walnut color of the base, and I could see it in a living room that is decorated in beige or grey.  It's just low enough, not overstuffed, but was also comfortable when I went to sit on it.  I love a couch that has hard lines but can still be comfortable.

This table mechanism is one of my favorite features, but to find it in such a simply stated design is what truly made this a winner for me. Urban living can sometimes require a workspace in small areas, and this overall design is contemporary and I love the lighter walnut finish.

I love seeing modular options for entertainment spaces, but these pieces are striking for their material combinations and pop of hardware. Fun and casual yet sophisticated.

Room dividers have so much versatility when it comes to where they are used within a home, but this particular design has the storage appropriate for any space. Whether it’s for an office in a larger home or to divide a studio apartment, this piece has endless potential. Not to mention the classic brass on white look to give any room a clean and refined visual. 

I’m a fan of this chairs craftsmanship in the “swoosh” of the arms into the back legs. The proportion through the curve is beautiful and unique.

This light is a great accent and is an alternative to lampshade light. It gives off a soft light and could definitely bring warmth to any environment.

I love this chairs “overstuffed” look of comfort, while staying contained in the smooth bent wood sides, creating a relaxed and elegant look.

This chair is so elegant, but also equally comfortable. The fabric is visually interesting and texturally soft. The overall construction of this chair allows it to have a clean-cut appearance from all angles.

This bed and nightstand combo got my attention for its low and lean proportions. The sleek profile of the upholstered headboard and border ledge give this bed a comfortable and inviting appearance. The nightstand is the perfect height to pull over the ledge and use as an added surface. The two pieces together are minimal, which keep the most relaxing piece of furniture the least cluttered and most visually satisfying.
