The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) has released this season’s High Point Market Style Report.
The summer and fall edition of the report, put together by eight home fashion and design professionals, is made up of 37-pages of trends and coordinating “must-have” items from different vendors found throughout April’s High Point Market. Altogether, the report highlights 68 products from 48 different High Point Market exhibitors across 22 different trends, ranging in theme from “Inlay, Overlay and Texture” and “Fully Functional with Style,” to “Postmodern Pleasures” and “A Sensuous Turn.”
The home fashion gurus involved in this year’s edition of the report are all a part of HPMA’s 2018 Style Spotters team. Contributors to the Style Report for summer and fall of 2019 include Shay Geyer, IBB Design Fine Furnishings; Gary Inman, Baskervill; Shayla Copas, Shayla Copas Interiors; Kara Cox, Kara Cox Interiors; Cynthia Ferguson, Cynthia Ferguson Designs; Eric Haydel, Eric Haydel Design; Benjamin Johnston, Benjamin Johnston Design LLC; Courtney McLeod, Right Meets Left Interior Design; Laura Thurman, Thurman Design Studio LLC; and Erinn Valencich, Erinn V Design Group.
“Canvassing the world’s largest home fashion and design show, our remarkable group of design leaders uncovered the key global trends and innovative products that will define style in the months to come,” said Shay Geyer and Gary Inman, Style Spotters’ alumni advisors, in the report. “With curations as diverse, exciting and unique as they are, they will put you on the inside track to the shapes, colors and textures that are about to capture consumers’ hearts.”
Style Spotters began during the October 2011 High Point Market and is sponsored this year by Crypton. Spotters serve for two markets over a calendar year and visit exhibitors, marking their chosen products with a sign that highlights the Style Spotter’s name and a QR code that links back to Pinterest boards filled with Style Spotters’ choices. Team members also showcase their favorite products and trends from High Point Market exhibitors with their Style Spotter Stories, the at-Market Style Spotters Live! event and various media interviews.
