Bungalow, a retail emporium in Westport, Connecticut with one-of-a-kind home decor and accessories, recently underwent a redesign.
Owner Wende Cohen is the mastermind behind the vision—which includes a cozy café where customers can enjoy a cappuccino or glass of wine along with a place to dream, converse and enjoy. The exterior has also been revamped with a metal roof and clean black-and-white detailing to serve as a jewel box for the treasures inside.
Cohen says her vision for the new Bungalow is clean, organic and modern, with plenty of natural light. She brings European elegance and eclecticism with her mix of international, traditional and modern pieces, along with contemporary jewelry brands like JL Rocks, 3-Om, The Woods, and Lera Jewels.
Leading Connecticut designers Sam Allen, Chris Roughan, Terri Ricci, Kerri Rosenthal and Amy Hirsch agree that Bungalow’s transformation proves that online shopping is simply no substitute for an expertly curated environment, where shoppers can browse, catch up with friends and enjoy a mini escape filled with discoveries from around the world.
The store has been a trusted resource for interior designers for over 20 years, and with the redesign, the store is poised to serve the design community for 20 more.
