At Universal, Shayla Copas and Christopher Kennedy and I will be talking about the wonderful world of publishing a book, what it takes in time and $, what book publishers are looking for, what to look for in a book publisher, and is a book a stepping stone to bigger things or is it your end goal. Shayla has just come out with her first book Four Seasons of Entertaining and Christopher has completed two books, California Modern (2015) and Making MidCentury Modern (2017). Kalaty Rugs has finally arrived in High Point and DT welcomes their debut with a jazzy meet-and-greet in their 3,700 square foot showroom. The fourth-gen rug manufacturer has a repertoire of constructions, and is quite well-known for their heirloom quality hand-knotted rugs. Poised to work with interior designers now, Kalaty also has a custom color program (designers, feel free to bring your swatches!) and custom sizing.
