Collecting is a topic that I never tire of because it involves design, history, and story and because it’s personal. DT is sponsoring THE ART OF COLLECTING panel, moderated by Gary Inman and featuring design stars Larry Laslo, Barry Dixon, and Michelle Workman and tech visionary Stacey Tiveron, founder of Ronati, a new technology that helps antique dealers be successful. At Universal, Shayla Copas and Christopher Kennedy and I will be talking about the wonderful world of publishing a book, what it takes in time and $, what book publishers are looking for, what to look for in a book publisher, and is a book a stepping stone to bigger things or is it your end goal. Shayla has just come out with her first book Four Seasons of Entertaining and Christopher has completed two books, California Modern (2015) and Making MidCentury Modern (2017).
