KBIS iPHONE SHOTS

In February I went to my very first KBIS. I strolled the aisles for 3 days and also moderated a panel with four fascinating and passionate women who all have a stake in the world of design and innovation. (lead photo: Florida Tile)

Below are 30 photos from my iPhone. They are not professional but they will give you a feel for the scope of the show. From bent concrete tiles to new appliance innovation and doors of every kind, it was a mind and eyeful.

Following that is the video from our panel called Designing Women 2.0 and featuring Malene Barnett (Malene B), a product designer, lifelong artist, and founder of BAD Guild; Valerie Malone, President and General Manager of LIXIL in Canada (American Standard, DXV, and Grohe) whose job it is to pioneer water technology so that we can all enjoy it; Kate Campbell, carpenter and contractor who is a Canadian HGTV celeb and founder of Build Women Up; Rebekah Zavelof, interior designers and founder of Kitchen Lab based out of Chicago.

And here’s that video.
