There is still a wee bit of time to submit stories, ideas, wisdom, and product for editorial consideration for the winter issue of Designers Today. I am interested in hearing from designers (as always), industry experts and consultants, and manufacturers. We are a community working together and can learn from one another.
NEWS (from designers and manufacturers):
collaborations and partnerships, showrooms and design studios openings or relocations, technology (new apps, smart home innovation), collection or division expansions, winter market designer-related happenings and events, hotels and restaurants that you’ve designed.
BOOKS: YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS.
As we set out for a new year, I’d like to know about your favorite books. Not the gorgeous interior design books filled with pretty pictures, but those filled with invaluable advice, guidance and wisdom… the ones decorated with post-its, that you reread everytime you feel stuck, and would buy for a friend in a heartbeat. Required: Name of Book, Author, a brief review and why you LOVE it.
The coziest nook, bed, media room, kitchen, bath you’ve ever designed for a client.
Where can we expect to find you caught being cozy this winter. Show us your favorite place.
Color of cozy: what paint color defines cozy. Send us your fave with a brief explanation.
And if there are any tea ritualists out there, I’d love to get recommendations for beautiful brews, flavors and fave tea source.
In your own home or a client’s, have you created a sacred space, meditation studio, prayer room? If so, please send images and a brief description of the space and the elements/materials that made it unique.
A QUESTION ABOUT PRICING
As you know being of service is a high priority, and up till now, DT has not listed pricing for products. I am considering, moving forward, to iindicate MSRP (whenever possible) so you at least have a ballpark idea of where a product fits into your plan. What do you think? Yes/No.
DEADLINE FOR CONSIDERATION FOR PRINT: DECEMBER 3RD

SHOW AND TELL
Personal collections often unveil a quirk or facet of one’s pesonality that is delightfully curious. Show and tell us about yours: when did it start, how did it start, what are some of your prized possession, and how do you display the collection. If you are an avid collection and have more than one, let us know.
