She knits, bakes and hikes in her free time, and Lindsay Molinario has also worked hard on her studies—earning induction into the National Society of Leadership and Success at High Point University for her academic performance as well as maintaining a presence on the Dean’s List. One of the inaugural students participating in the Trendy 20 initiative, Molinario said she always intended to pursue a path of study than allowed her to utilize her creativity. “Interior design is a major that I knew would be an area of study where I could showcase my artistic abilities,” she says. “From taking art lessons throughout my childhood, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in which I would be able to showcase this ability. “After graduation, my dream would be to get into textiles and patterns,” Molinario says. “I have become very interested in this and there are so many different ways in which patterns can be applied.”
